Ten Advent and Christmas Resources to inspire a creative Christmas in your classroom. These resources are for real learning in Visual Arts, Literacy and RE as you countdown to Christmas. A versatile and engaging cross-curriculum Christmas resource to spark students imaginations! This resource comprises eight suggestions for a variety of imaginative and persuasive writing projects, each task offering an opportunity to incorporate an art and design element. Students will be able to work independently or collaboratively on the tasks. The prompts provide creative inspiration for every writer. Suggested texts include narrative, play or film scripts, news report, advertising (print and screen), comic strip, poetry, parody, menu, invitations and social media mock-ups. Choose a class task that supports your current literacy focus, (or series of task) or allow students to choose their own.
